Why did you want to be a 12 girl?
It sounded so fun! Some of my friends have been in tempe12 before and they had such a blast so I knew it would be a good time! Being a 12 gives you the chance to make new girlfriends and meet a ton of other people, as well as opening the door for fun new opportunities and of course getting cute pics!
Tell us something about you that people wouldn’t expect from just looking at you?
I am a total Harry Potter nerd!! I’ve read all the books and own all the movies and have watched them more times than one could possibly count! Seriously never gets old! Haha I’m dying to go to Universal Studios Harry Potter theme park!
Favorite Place on Campus?
That’s so hard to pick one! I love engrained, starbucks and jamba juice! Best places to get a snack in between classes! And I always run into friends eating or in line waiting for my smoothie! There is also a hidden garden that is so nice to hang out in and relax or do homework and eat!
What do you look for in a guy?
I love when I can be friends with the guy I’m dating! It’s important to have similar interests and I love when I can be silly around a guy and not have to feel insecure! I also love to do fun active things together! And it’s really important for him to get along with my friends or it will never workout! To me a relationship is so much stronger if you can relate to the other person on other levels besides just physical attraction. But if he’s hot that’s obviously a plus! Haha
What do you love about being a SunDevil?!
I love how school spirited ASU students are! Everyone wears ASU clothes around campus or to the gym and our sporting events are insane! Everyone here is so proud to be a SunDevil and whether were going to tailgates or going on vacation with a bunch of other ASU students, you know it will always be a good time and everyone will be throwing up the pitchfork even on the beach in Mexico!
Why did you want to go to ASU?
I love how big ASU is! I love being around people and ASU has so many students so there is a constant high energy all around campus and Tempe! Visiting ASU for the first time was such a culture shock, not only is Arizona so different from California, but Tempe is it’s own little bubble with so many thousands of students interested in the same things as me. I also fell in love Scottsdale and it’s old town feel.
Tell us about where you grew up?
I was born in San Francisco, California and moved to the suburbs in Emerald Hills/Woodside 30 minutes south of the city in elementary school. It’s a beautiful area 20 minutes away from the beach but hidden behind the mountains so the fog and cold are blocked away so it’s always sunny and beautiful!
What’s one item you can’t live without and why?
I can’t live without my phone! My phone was stolen a couple weeks ago and I had never felt so lost! I love always being in touch with my friends and I depend on it for work and getting directions to places! Plus I’m totally addicted to Instagram and Snapchat! Haha
Favorite College Memory?
So hard to pick one! I guess when I came to ASU for the first time and I spent a week staying at my best friend’s apartment at the VUE and fell in love with ASU. Of course my friends made sure I had the most insane week packed with hiking, a tour around campus and parties of course! The VUE was crazy and so was SigNu, I had never been around so many people my age! I also made the most amazing friends this week who are some of my best friends today!
What’s your major and how did you decide on that?
My major is communication and I chose it because while I still do not know what career I want, I can totally imagine myself doing something in public relations or marketing. I really enjoy the classes I’m taking too, learning about conflict resolution and public speaking was so interesting and educational! I know my major is something I will be able to apply to in everyday life.
